THIS COURSE WILL GET YOU SKILLED AND COMFORTABLE ON YOUR MOUNTAIN BIKE.
BEST FOR RIDERS (ANY GENDER) WHO HAVE LITTLE TO NO EXPERIENCE ON THE SINGLE TRACK. YOU WILL LEARN SKILLS IN A SAFE, SOCIAL AND NON-INTIMIDATING ENVIRONMENT.

Skills & Thrills
Bike Safety Inspection
Position and Balance (neutral, ready, climb)
Operational Control (shifting / braking)
Direction Control (leaning / for-aft movements - intro to cornering)
Un-weight the front end of the bike
+ Additional skills that fit the group as riders improve!
How to fix a flat tire
How to clean / lube your chain
Location is Edmonton river valley - exact meeting point and trails TBC closer to the date.
Instructor is Natalie Rix; PMBI Level 1 (add’l coaches as required)
Clinic limited to 6 riders per coach
What to Wear / Bring
Mountain Bike (hybrids / commuters are not appropriate for the trails)
Clothing for the weather
Shoes (flat sole or clip, close toed)
Chamois (aka padded shorts; recommended but not required)
Hydration pack / water bottle
